About the Play
25,000 Posts is the story of one American dream navigating the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune that (so far) have constituted the 21st century. It's 39 monologues about love, loss, reinvention, and real estate sign posting. Part memoir, part training manual, and part questionable advise, 25,000 Posts is a humorous reflection on our contemporary ethos.
The play was written and developed over a 15 month period starting in 2012. During that time, selections were shared on three different occasions at Annex's Spin the Bottle. In October, "installation events" happened all over the city as part of Artscrush, as well as a public reading. In May of 2015, 25,000 Posts was fully produced at West of Lenin. Performances were warmly received by audiences and press alike.
